Going on uni holidays in few weeks so need something to play with for 3 months of holidays.
Thinking of picking up a cheap VK and seeing what I can drop (buick or ecotec?) suppose if im going to the trouble should be an V8. 5.7 maybe? GENIII in a VKCRS has mounting kits for these for the vk for just under 300.
Probably a megasquirt comp so can have all the fun of tuning.
Anyways, What I was wondering is would a getrag or 4L60-E bolt into a vk without too much effort?
If I get a wrecked VT would it be possible to transplant all the running gear, what needs to be done for the VK to handle the power of the new motor?
