intake air temp

heard a rumour about disconnecting the intake air temp sensor in the manifold and it drops the 1/4 mile time pretty signifigantly.
i dont see the logic in it cos if you have a good tune it would run worse from overfuelling as it see's the engine as being stone cold

Mm well if you had enough of a motor to use the extra fuel it might just work with your foot on the floor in a straight line. You will also gain 3 degrees of spark advance since that changes with the temp too but yeah pointless if you have tune

Hey .... why not just install a switch for when you want to play ..... then turn it back on for economy .....
