Stage 2 shift kit.......where to go?

hey guys....i live in ferntree gully.....i want to get a stage 2 shift kit fitted in my VP in the next few weeks.......i am not 100% sure where to go to get it done........obviously i want it done properley the first time with no skimping around..........i know there is auto trans in hallam.......but im not sure about them.........any suggestions? any suggestions would be a huge help! thanks!

have heard good things about Transtyle in Hallam (they seemed quite knowledgable and professional on the phone) or you could drive out to Geelong and get it done by TradeMatics who did me a kick arse V8 Trimatic that can take a fair amount of punishment.

theres a joint in campbellfield, umm i think its called trickshift.. apparently they do them all the time, and are not bad priced..

got a quote from transtyle in hallam today.......quite happy with it.........

B&M Shifter (indicator on the RIGHT side not the left for legality's sake) and stage 2 kit..........$2,600 approx...................inc labour.........hahahah he said the main part you pay for in labour is the fitting of the bloody shifter onto the console hahahahaha

Try Trick Shift Performance.They did my brothers and he hasnt had a problem with it since.

dont even touch transtyle with a 20 foot pole, they ****ing suck, me and everyone i know refuse to go there anymore, go to pro auto in dandenong, its on lonsdale st, just before webster st and they do a bloody good job, transtyles told me my tranny was ****ed and i needed to spend 800+ bucks to put a new one in, took it to pro auto and it was the quick release valve cost 160 to fix it including a service, a year later an its still going fine and i could say so much more about how transtyles is **** but ill just leave it up to you.

i know it may be a bit late but i was reading through ur threads and saw this and noticed u havent had it done yet according to ur list on your vp page, figured i'd put my 2 cents in either way
