does anyone know of anyone who can remove rev limiters in the eastern suburbs? dont care what it costs either![]()
hey mate wouldnt know, just wondering why u would want to do this?
have a chat to Dr Bob.. hes the guru when it comes to that kinda stuff![]()
rev limiter is in the chip/computor change the settings to increase max revs
Maybe increase the shift points
But why would you want to completely remove it??
its a 92 VP commodore 3.8 litre factory box......have u done it before if so what results did ya get?
yea but it wouldnt last too much longer before something is outside the engine, thats meant to be inside![]()
how do you mean?
Cobez, i meant throwing a piston out the side of ur block![]()
a stockish setup wont make any power after 6,000 rpm anyways ive taken my VP V6 to rev limiter in second and theres just nothing there after about 5,200 rpm...
If you want to see what happens after 5500-6000 look at a torque map on a dyno to see where it starts to drop off
