VS V8 cams

hi can i put a mechanical or hydrolic cam in my v8,its out of a series 1 vs executive

The 5 litre from VN-VS uses the same cam, it's the same block/heads everything

the standard 304 engine has a hydraulic cam, you could fit a mechanical (solid) cam but you would also need to fit adjustable rockers so you could set/maintain the correct lash settings. mechanical cams are also a little noisier then hydraulic cams etc
