hey i've been playing around with the idea of converting my VR V6 buick motor to a VZ 190kw V6 alloytech. i know that i would need motor, gearbox, comp, and wiring loom but what else would i need for the conversion. and if i had it done professionally, would it be really hard to do? i just love the idea of have a 190 kw V6 sitting in my vr and no-one being the wiser. i reckon that'd spin ppl out
mmm i think it would be a very expensive venture.... for the money you could probably get an ecotec stroker kit and some bolt ons and get the same power out of an ecotec.....
it would be good to see but i dont think its very wise coming from a financial side of things cos getting an engineer to do the work means your going to be paying $100+ an hour.... same for the auto elec... then another $1000 for the tune
ok. well thats out lol. say i have around 3-4 thousand to spend, what should i do? but not go to a V8.
stuck with the new p plate laws? dont bother with it, save the money and get a decent engine when youre off your P's

nah in QLD, we are only just getting em in{not in yet} and i pre-date them so i'm safe.
I priced it up, but for the total price I could of had a 5ltr with decent mods, an l67 running 10psi..
Not worth it!
Cheers
