    Angry spraypain removal

some feral put a bit of black spraypaint on my bonnet while I was away for a few days. It is nicely baked on to my 2005 impulse blue paintwork.

What is the best way to get it off without damaging the paintwork?

    TIA

I used Jiff cleaner on my old man's van when that got done, a fair amount of pressure did it. Follow with a cut and polish and it will be sweet.

Cutting compound, followed by a good buffing I would say.

I use AeroGard insect repellent (spray can) for removing any spray painted or pen graffitti at work.... sounds abit strange but it works wonders and isnt too caustic... not sure if it will damage ur cars paintwork but its pretty gentle on most other surfaces

I'd try a bit of prepsol and rub it with a rag ....if that didn't work thinners should get it off but that might also bite into ur blue paint as well if ya aint carefull.

Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! It will most likely ruin the paint you are trying to save. As others have said - cutting compound and a polish, or a clay bar.

Paint doctor should get it off with some rubbing, you should have a nice shiney spot when done. So i would suggest to give the whole bonnet a buff. Paint doctor is in a tube and can be found at auto stores, costing roughly $8 a tube.
