Has anyone fitted a MCAI to VY2 clubby

hi all,

i have a CAI shroud to fit to the front of my airbox (gts style 2 hole). the things is, that it looks too big and too tall to fit properly....

the hole on the shroud is about 105mm wide and the main hole on the airbox is 90mm and doesn't seem to line up at all...

has anyone fitted one of these to their vy2 clubby and any advice on how to make it fit......

As you can see from the pictures you need to do some cutting as pointed out in one of the shots. And there is some foam tape that comes with the VY shroud if not go buy some. It goes around hole in shroud to make it a neat fit

thanx for reply mate...took out air box today and yep, as i thought it doesn't fit my engine bay and air box design - it's way too big....i figured that my air box is the GTS style so it already has two intakes. the left front corner of the box is wide open with a funnel drawing air in from behind the left indicator area..i've joined a pipe to the 90mm hole to draw air in from below the headlight unit...gives a bit more growl under acceleration.
