    Default vg with a vt motor

    i saw for sale a 90/91 vg with a vt engine installed.. is this possoible? i was thinking of doin it myself,, but when i made a few phone calls.. i was told i couldnt put a vt engine in my vg ute. can any1 help me or no any good places i can call n chat 2 2 find out... or mayb sum sights that explain sum of the technical sides a bit so i can understand what they r saying ? lol... ive also been suggested 2 buy like new motors n so on but im looking at spending $2000>. . un fortunately i also fall under new p plate rules so i cannot hav a v8 or modified or turbocharged engine *sigh* any1 could help it would b really appreciated.. dunn how long my beast;s engine is gonna last thx.

    yes u can put a vt engine in your vg and its a damn simple conversion if u half know what your doing...

    give castlemain rod shop a ring.. just google it and it will come up with there website they should be able to help... also pick up a common commodore mag that seems isnt allowed to be typed on here lol and theres always ads for conversion kits in them

    i was goin to do the same thing but vt motor to a vr and have no idea if it bolts straight in or if there is anything technical about it. i dnt reckon a vt motor would go in a vg straight away although they would have the similar motor as a vr vn and vp but when you really look at vt motor the onli thing i seen different is the throttle body so i dont know

    Id love to put a VT motor in my VN Wagon It would drive so much nicer i reckon.

    why would u bother unless your buick has totally shat itselfe. the buicks are totally fine engines and keep up with the ecotecs that are in vs and vts anyway

    nothing beats a s1 vn motor
    even tho mine is a s2 but ive had 17 vn`s and most s1
    s1 box 2 coz they have man kick back controler on the box on the auto`s
    im selling a turbo s2 motor as well with to4 and computer ready to go pm for more info
