    Default front suspension

anyone know how long the front shocks on fe2 suspension is expected to last?

my sv6 has 34thou ks and is a bit over a yr old, and i can hear the front shocks when going over speed humps/gutters etc

its not a squeak sound but more like a fluid sound, also noticed that the shocks arent as stiff as they used to be?

    is it time for replacement?

should i go (would you go) pedders or monroe?

i will probably be going lower at the same time so pedders/king/lovells?

please give your recomendation and experiences
    cheers

i think munroe garantees there shocks for 20,000km although here (NZ) at the shock shop they garantee em for 40,000km. then again, 34,000km in one year, thats a lot of driving.

Depending on how low you would want to go id probly go for shortened shocks and springs through pedders but I think that sound could be normal? If theyd be rooted after 34 thou k's id be letting holden know about it.

depends on type of driving, and where you live, alot of highway driving will last longer, but as dan355 said I'd be contacting holden if they only last 34,000K's

I know my Fe2 setup makes an air noise when going over bumps but that is normal.

Best bet is to take it into pedders for the 28 point saftey check for like $18 dollers or whatver it is, tell them you havn't noticed anything wrong and see if the experts say anything.
