I have the leather covers from a vx calais that i want to put on my vt. I need to know how to remove the original covers and how to put the new ones on. I have also been told that my seats may need to be filled in places to properly match the contours of the vx seats.
Can anybody please help.
P.S. these are the original seats not throw on's and therefore need to replace the existing covers.
I'll take it you have something like these
Seat Covers HOLDEN COMMODORE VL VN VP VR VS VT VX VY VZ - eBay Seats, Interior, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 14-Feb-08 14:13:50 AEDST)
I would recommend getting a professional that does upholstery because it is very easy to stuff it up.
k thanks
does any1 know how much that will cost?
my interior is ORIGINAL holden vx calais leather. so best to get a pro
jst thought id clear that up
Its actually not that hard, all you need is a hairdryer a staple gun and a mate to help u, start by removing and disassembling old seat, remove factory staples underneath, send to upholsterers and get seat rebolstrered, fit leather wirh aid of hairdryer and a mate, if not too keen shouldn't be too espensive to get it done, just strip the seats yourself heaps cheaper.
