    Default vr ecotec conversion

    i was wondering if any of you know about putting an ecotec v6 into a vr. how hard it is? engine mounts fitting? bolting the old transmission to the new motor etc

    This has been covered heaps of times on this forum. It will bolt straight in but you will have to either change the computer & wiring to the ecotec type. If running an auto this would need to be changed as well. Or change the wiring to suit the ecotec, change the knock & coolant sensors & add a MAT sensor.
