have a look in the how-to section. i'm sure Hozy did one because he was sick of answering lots of threads/pm's on the subject. other wise check i nthe my ride section (VN/VP) and look for Hozy's ride, it's got all the the details he discovered when he did the conversion

Well it actually looks like you've already got the only parts I can offer, engine, compter, loom etc. So your about half way there.

The ecotec motor is worse than the buick? I dunno why you want to put him off? Im guessing you might be reffering to the buick being harder to kill, but the ecotec does give a bit more hp due to weight it halls lol. If you do the conversion think you could write up a how to or heaps of pics? Im buying a vn calais in good nick and will consider dropping a ecotec in it if the motor is to far gone.

no worries mate im just not sure as yet if im doin the conversion as ive been told its gonna cost me $1500 just to wire up the motor, loom, and computer, and another $500 to rewrite the ecm due to the vx having a body controlo module along with it..
if i do the swap ill definetely post pics and how to during the trade up..

    Total cost under $1000 easily..

Motor, VN loom which modify for the Ecotec, ecotec sensors an stuff.. extractors/exhaust or u can use live axel vs maniolds an exhaust... Doing it again I could more than likely easily do it for under $800
