VE steering wheel on older model?

hey guys, just out of interest, has anyone seen or managed to get a VE steering wheel on an older commodore? might look a bit cool if it can be done.
i know you probably wont get the buttons on the wheel to do much, but who cares.

Depends who different the steering column splines are really, might be an easy fit or something almost impossible.
With enough $$$$ anything is possible.
