Default intake mod

hey all im wanting to change the pipe that goes from the throttle body to the MAF.

for example: 4" MAF Ducting and MAF Relocator

although i don't want to pay that much so im going to make one myself.

Could some body please tell me what material to use and does it have to be heat resistant?

thanks
