intake
hi i got one of those otr cai for my car and i cut the plastic on the underside so now theres a hole so air can enter via the front of the radiator and the standard hole.
Will this reduce the effectiveness of the intake as air is travelling from either side?

probably - but not for the reason you stated with two competing air flows, more because of the heat being allowed to pass off the radiator and go into the cai.
