    Default badges or no badges????????

hey everyone, just interested to get some opinions, had my car debadged by someone last week sometime and was thinking of putting new badges back on or leave them off and clean up where they've scratched the paint work, any ideas?

its a white vy ss, i'm in 2 minds at the moment on what to do, either put them on or remove where they've left marks and the commodore badge and just leave the 2 holden symbols or replace the 5 stolen badges.

Awww man that's farked. I hate people... in general... *sigh*

Take a few pics of your car and photoshop the badges off See what you think of them. I tend to think an SS without badges would make a good sleeper. ^^

badges are great on it depends on the ride if its something to be proud of then leave the badges on if its not just leave the necessary badges on e.g holden badge.

yeh thats it i prefer badges on a car, i think they look good, but if i put them back on i'm going to be comeing out to my car every morning hopeing my badges haven't been taken, but yeh would make a good sleeper has it doesn't have the factory wheels on it and there a quiet car even with an exhaust on the gen3 not like the 5ltrs. and i gave it a wash yesterday and noticed paints come of from where one of the ss badges where.

Everybody is different but i hate the debaged look myself, much prefer badges especially since yours is an ss.
Sucks that there are some pricks out there that will do that so i can see why you would be reluctant to put them back on.

The only badge i'd leave off is the 'commodore' one. Just the Holden badge and the SS ones looks pretty clean imo

I hate it when that happens - my cars have been done a few times now . As for the photoshop thing - why bother? He just has to look at the car to see what it's like with no badges on it. Maybe he needs to photoshop them back on to see if he will like it???

Normally I would say to take all of the badges off, but if they have damaged the paint work then I suggest you put them back on to cover it up.

I have found 2 Supercharged badges that are 150ml long I'm thinking about put them on. As others have said older cars look better with them off. At the end of the day its your car if you like them off take them off if not dont.

yeh iv decided to put them back on, yeh well some of the paint underneath them is no longer there, must have come off when the badges were taken off, although the primer is still there and the metal of the door, thats how much they got into takeing them off
so going to touch up the areas and put new badges on it.

got car back from panel shop, looks immac again now like when i first got it, badges all back on, looks awesome with them on, it had polished like chrome ss badges orriginaly, but the put the satin chrome ones on, looks heaps better, plus they did them for half the cost that i was quoted trade from holden, will post pics in my ride this week as it now looks good enough for a photo or 2.
