VY commodore.

hey all, great forum.

um in the process of wanting a VY commodore and modfying it.

not so much performance wise at the moment as i am a p plater.

but visually, i mean the clubby bodykits and other upgrades such as exhaust and audio etc...

anyone got any ideas for my VY?

I dont know anything about mechanical upgrades, but my berlina is unique in that it has phreddies rca audio out mod (to keep the deck original, but run it with an amp), a rockford fosgate 4ch amp, mb quartz 6.5 coaxials, with 6x9's in the parcel tray.
I have phreddies lighting mod(every single green light in the car is now white) including the needles on the dash
If u can afford yourself a berlina+ over an exec or acclaim, u can get the speedo and tacho needles to morph from blue to red, as u go faster/rev the engine. its pretty cool.
If u get an exec or acclaim you can always mod the interior, and the exterior lights/bars to look like a calais, but i figure u mite as well save that money and buy the real thing.
Thats what i've done, and i like it.
I'll leave the mechanical advice to the experts.
Oh, and make sure u buy a series 2, better for resale
