id love to get one and do a dyno before and after just to see, I doubt it could give the gains they say it would, any fuel savings would be from a restricted air intake anyway.

in theory they should work, they sound they are based on the same principle as head porting when you try to get a good swirl pattern,(read up on this in performance mannuals),but I think they would need to be after the throttle body to be any good as the butterfly would disrupt any good flows straigth away, and as mentioned before they may also restrict airflow and possibly drop air pressure into the engine ,so in a nut shell they should do something but what? who knows

Similar system to Hiclones.. in the 4wd industry they are regarded as absolute rubbish.

I've just picked one up last week and have only used it the last couple of days,
and its to early for results but i'll let you know. Right now the car seems to be travelling well, but i've also had my HSV chip put back in with increased power mods. So in about two weeks i should be able to get a feel for things.

320 to a quarter tank of petrol is godd damm excellent! im lucky to get 100 to a quarter of petrol. even in my old v6.

EDIT: just re-read. do you mean you get 320kms between full tank and quarter tank, as in 3/4 of a tank?

Exactly, there's something definitely not right there. 59L tank I think, at 1280Ks per tank that equates to under 5L/100Km. Definitely not right. I think VNExecutive's interpretation is probably more accurate

So 3/4 of a tank will get you 320Km then? That sounds much more feasible About 425Km/tank.That's 44L over 320km, or 13.7L/100km. You are right, that fuel economy isn't overly good heh. My ecotec averages 10.6L/100km.

Just out of curiosity, you did fill it with the same type of fuel since you installed the fuel saver, yeah? Didn't happen to go from 91 octane up to 95, or 95 up to 98?

Have you been driving anywhere you don't usually? If not, I think you will find that your driving habits have changed without you realising. While consciously keeping an eye on fuel economy, you've probably been driving softer than you were before you installed the saver. I can't really see these things working in actuality, I think it would be a placebo. You can convince yourself you're running better, but you don't know for sure

well it scored him an extra 50kms,so it cant be said that it isnt working regardless of whether it was a placebo effect or not
