    Unhappy Dash Lights

    Hi the Odometer section on my dash lights have blown out, does anyone know how to change the bulb out or is there a module you have to change, I hope the dash doen't need to be taken apart ?

    dude getting to the dash is easy o.0 and apparently taking it apart is easy as well should just be bulbs,

    yYou nailed it Static - it will just be a globe - getting the dash apart isn't all that hard, just don't try to do it before you remove the stereo unit.

    Have a look through the threads - there's a how-to somewhere. Make sure you order the globe from Holden first, and get it in your hand before you start. (no, you won't be able to get the globe from Ricebarn or Super Cheap - they're not a standard type...)

    Funny.. I can get any bulb for my VT from my local Autobarn, be it instrument cluster or dash.. I can even choose colours (blue/white/green), though these tend to be the standard rubber-sheethed type.
    Am I just lucky with this place?

    LOL: just a globe........and an afternoon frigging around getting the dash out?
    must have designed this into the system as work for someone!

    Oh the older cars.....where you could get the instrument cluster out in couple of minutes
