Looking To Buy A Special Commie..

Hey guys,
Im a mass fan of my late 80s/ early 90s commies and im so after a special one of some sort. I didnt have much luck searching on the net / forums for one of the following cars. So if anyone could point me in the direction of any / link / person wud be appreciated.

Im after one of the following:
1) Manual Vn - either s pack / ss pack / Calais / Clubsport / HSV
2) Manual Vp - either s pack / ss pack / Calais / Clubsport / HSV
3) Manual Vr - either s pack / ss pack / Calais / Clubsport / HSV

Im just trying to stick to the $5000ish or below price range, hoping to have some luck on it.

check out some forums. should be able to find a VN SS manual for less than 5.

Thought you found a Exec or SS for 5k with clubby stuff in it?

from what i can tell its an ss with all the clubby stuff included. the VIN code states its an exec or an ss, but since it has power windows and cruise control, id say its an ss.

You should buy that VP SS from Vic, although its not manual.

When i was looking for an SS a while back, i found a genuine manual VN Berlina 5L 5Spd which was 5k, you just have to hunt the trading post every week, and be patient!

yea i know, i saw it earlier (note my comment on it lol) i dnt want to have to travel to another state + fix engine probs on it though...so its a no-goer

Stockys turned out to be a clubsport. You can find VN SS manual for under 5 grand easy enough, VP SS manual about 6 grand at the most. S pack V6's are cheap, 2 grand will get one of those. Stealthy mentioned the VP SS rom my road? it's a auto but it's very nice and it'll sell for under 5 grand if it hasn't allready (I'm not sure)

Keep in mind were in SA, and he has no desire to buy a car interstate, so all the prices you guys are quoting are WAY under the mark for SA cars.

No point them getting your hopes up when the 5k car in Vic will sell for 7k or more here!

Consider buying from interstate tho, you'll save shitloads, and its a fairly simple process if you don't buy a heap of shit!

thats what the previous owner thought, and i did too, until i bought it and did a HSV check.
