Last real thing you can do to it without going to deep is get a Greenfoam tune. Speak to Greenfoam on the forums, and talk to him burning you a tune. Very good.

Then it's start to do some mechanical work.

Things like some YT High Ratio Roller Rockers.

After that. It's serious work, and serious money.

    Camshafts. Stroker Kits. Over-sizing. Head-work.

Or, just bolt on a S/C

Can always go one of those little cheap SC14 superchargers or so? They seem to be pretty popular with these old engines.

lol yeah, well when I see supercharger I instantly presume a 'real one' like a Raptor kit or something, not the little SC14 ones :P

Well they are little, with usually only 3.5PSI, what's that?

You can go that way. There are a few ways you can go. Depending on what you want your final goal to be, and how much you want to spend.

Yeah, because of the size of the engine (3.8L) when they come off a little 4cylinder, they just can't spin enough to make a good psi, so they make yeas... 3psi around that, people have used different pulleys and such, but supercharger doesn't last long, being strained too much, little fella just cant handle it.

Could always find a nice big Vortech V7 to go on there, hehe

You can boost them up to about 12PSI, but I wouldn't like the idea of that too much.

You can. But that is pushing the little SC14 to it's absolute maximum.

its a vp motor u said.. pull the throttle body off and pull out that pesky bit of black plastic tube.
with that gone u get more air.
    more air = more power.

More throttle response, not more power

    LOL.

    HAHAHA.

Do you understand the idea of the bellmouth?

It was there to evenly distribute air to the back two cylinders to smoothen idle. At WOT, it's not a restriction.

i'd go 3-4 psi of boost through an SC14 if you are looking to keep things mild. at your age though, your not allowed to, so basic and easily hidden bolt ons and internal mods it is for you mate.
