Rims question

G'day guys,

Do you know what these rims are oringally off of?

I scored a set of 4, for $160 in great condition from the wreckers.

I think the original design was on the VR GTS's?
I could be wrong, but usually one years gts rims are next years clubsport rims are next years ss rims are next years s pack rims lol

Holden wheels do

VR SS wheels became VS S pac wheels etc

Same with later models lights, VY Berlina became VZ Exec.....

I would imagine originals would be stamped somewhere inside the wheel with the HSV logo, if they're off a VR GTS.

I did a search on yahoo and found a web site with a Vr gts and it has the same wheels.

Wheels on the right hand side of the page.

After looking at the ones on the website, did all of them have that gts logo?

I'm not 100% sure if thats a factory thing! Keep in mind almost every Holden/HSV wheel has had a copy made of it! So chances are its a copy. Either way, nothing wrong with a copy, like i said, i hate the design of the rim, no matter what the brand!


They will have ROH printed on the back of one of the spokes, aswell as HSV on a different spoke.

Ah huhhhhhhh! I had no idea the Senator and the GTS shared the same rim. You learn some thing new every day!

I will be going back to the wreckers next week to pick them up and I will look for the 'holden special vehicle' stamp. Thanks heaps mate!

Also..... Does anyone know the price of powder coating???? Or should I just get them restored????
