any1 no how to disable the factory alarm in a 2000 WH statesman?

You could try earthing out the bonnet pin...
It works on some cars...
To test if it will work open the bonnet and try arming the alarm, it might possibly give you a warning, and probably not arm at all.
If you are installing an stand alone alarm system, this may be the only way to avoid the alarm self arming when the doors are locked and unlocked via the trigger wires that the alarm will hook to..
