Hey mate, the VS has the old ecotech, think its 155kw, the VE alloytec comes with the 195kw motor. Something like 10-20nm of torque difference as well.
Apart from that the VE is safer, comes with ESP, has a better drivetrain, handling etc.
hey Guys, one my mates just got a new car holden commodore ve sv6 ute , just wondering what the differences between his new car and Another mates holden commodore crewman storm ute
Thanks , i want to know the specifications would be nice too, i was tiring to find specifications for both but could find any.

kuzman89: I think you misread it wrong...he means Crewman Storm (which would be a VZ) vs VE SV6.
Personally...it all comes down to what you need. The Crewman can seat 5 adults, just the same as a Commodore sedan/wagon (but with less legroom), but the VE is a newer car that is (IMHO) a much better drive, and has a bigger tray than the Crewman, being a single cab.

Basically the Crewman is just a squashed Sedan with a Tray on the back
personally i reckon the SV6 looks way better too
