    Default is this a vh or a vk?

    hey hope this is in the right spot
    Holden commadore 1984 for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand
    i am looking at this commodore to buy and repaint ect
    and i no it is 1984 commodore but what i dont no is it a vh or a vk
    thanks for any replies

    The best way to tell would be the extra rear quater window behind the rear door that the VK had. If there is no rear quarter window there, it is a VH.

    yeah, VK.
    Tell by the steering wheel as well. ugliest wheel they have used i think :P

    That steering wheel was from VB series to VL I believe.

    It's almost worth a poll on this matter, but I vote the VN Exec steering wheel as Holden's ugliest.

    vk calais had an uglier wheel imo, didnt mind the sl one above. Dont get me started on the vn bus steering wheel..

    VY's have a pretty shit wheel but I don't like the single spoker on the VH SLE :S or the VN exec. I actually quite like the standard VB-VL wheel

    VK mate. Has VH side indicators at the front though.........

    The single vertical spoke belongs to the ealier SLE and Calais from VH and VK, (I think). VN had horizontal spoke with large horn pad set slightly above it. The wheel was not only ugly, it was huge and would have been better suited to a bus.
