Problem Painting Dash

I've painted the dash in my VU white and its come up really matte instead of gloss...i did use plastic paint and heaps of clear coat but still didnt work....am i missing something?

What are the weather conditions like down there at present? If it was a wet or humid day, that will cause the paint to come out with a flat finish.

i did it awhile ago...cant really remember what the weather was like. i want to change the color anyways...might just see how i go for a second time

its a vinal pad, its proberly asorbed the colour and clear over time.

did you use vinal dye or just a spray can paint?
