Default Vp 304 and vs 304, same wiring?

Would a 304 from a vp ss fit into a 1997 Vs v8 ute and hook straight up to the existing wiring loom? Or would all the wiring from the vp need to be transplanted into the vs?

the only plug that is different is that for the dizzy, unless its a vp2 motor then it will fit....

but if u leave the vp wiring on the motor then you will be sweet
