headlights. can the be brighter?

Hey guys, i was wondering, can the headlights covers, or the light surrounds inside, be cleaned or anything to make my lights brighter? I replaced my old lights today with Calibre extra visions, there is a huge difference now, but yeah just wondering if i should clean inside?

Thanks mate, i'll give it a go tommorow and see how turns out. Hopefully my reflective surround is in good nick and i can give that a good clean too..

worst comes to man, you can just get a set of hid's off ebay, if you get 6000k you will not need brighter headlights. higher color temps will not give off the same light

i was reading about doing a voltage drop test ages ago on headlights
involved few teset with a multimeter and then a guuide to fix it

was aimed at the early models (vb-k)
but it could proberly work with new models
