Cheaper engine parts?

Is there a place that sells generic parts such as fuel pressure regulators, IAC's or other sensors? Holden's prices make it pretty much impossible to troubleshoot with these things. $300 for a lousy FPR.

Repco sells some of them, FPR, CAS... but not IAC. the place you are looking for is the wreckers.!!

Yeah true mate, but still, with sensors there's no telling what condition they're in. I'll give repco a shot, but i think i'll still have to buy lube.

last time i checked repco sells the V6 fuel pressure reg for $130 and CAS for $50. , much cheaper than the genuine $300.
And you might be able to get an IAC on EBAY. Check out a shop on the net called Inject-a-carb ( not sure about spelling)
