Has anyone used the Supercheap Autos Insurance before ? Aami is very limited mods wise, so i am looking towards Supercheap or ANZ bank.
Thanks.
Didn't even realise they offered insurance? Do you have a link?
They'll be underwritten by on of the other major insurers, so I wouldn't expect their underwriting criteria to be very different to the other products out there.

Supercheap Auto : Car Insurance
A condition of their policies is probably that only Supercheap parts can be used for repairs.![]()
Doesnt bother me, most repair places would use their parts anyway......... Silverline, Bosch etc.
Just spoke to them and they wont insure any performance mods, including exhaust systems etc.
just car is good for performance and suspension etc mods but they are a fair bit, ive got mine insured, vs caprice its got rear bags , zaust, 19's and im looking at 2300 a year with the mods not insured, but i am a p plater and only had my license for a year and a bit also lol

Really? I'm with Just Cars and I'm paying $1000 for full Comprehensive with mods done. As a matter of fact they say that I have reached the number of mods where I won't get charged any extra for more mods.

Yeah but they really drop the value of the car it seems. ING/Anz seem good, they have a low premium, but you need to pay a $1000 modification excess on top of anything if under 30.
