Front seat interchangeability?

Hi all, got a VK Commodore that we'd like to put later model seats in (specifically from VT onwards, but will look also at VN onwards)

What I wanted to know was do they go straight into a VK? So they have the same runners or do you have to bolt the VT seats onto VK runners - or are they even compatible?

We'd like to use the VT onwards rear seats too but obviously they'd be too wide for a VK body but we may be able to have them cut down.

I think you have to change the runners over. VN/VP are the same but one on each set the left one on the drivers side and the right on the passengers side dont line up they have got a bracket sticking out in front of the rails
