3.73 diff gears and a stage 2 shift kit

hi all

i've replaced my diff with 3.73 lsd and had my gearbox rebuild with a stage 2 shift kit.
i was wondering would the diff gears affect the shift pattern and if so how could i fix it?

most tuners will be able to plug ur car into their computer and change your shift points... otherwise it will rev out heaps before shifting when in drive

if its a vr, im pretty sure it will.... but if you get a speedo corrector it "should" fix it..... i may be wrong

i've got a jaycar speedo corrector kit and i was thinking of trying to put it before the computer insted of after it. will that help?

im pretty sure with vn-vp it goes..... speed sensor -> dash -> ecu
but for vr-vs its
speedo sensor -> ecu -> dash..... (i think)


so before the ecu is perfect, there is a how to by immorality and i think i remember him saying something vr/vs's taping into a different wire......

as in a different wire to cut into?

ahuh, look at immorality's thread on the speedo correcter.... i cant remember 100% but i think he said which wire to tap into for vr-vs's
