Hey just wondering with this pedals,

what tools do you need to install them. I spent at least one hour today looking for an alan key trying to take off those tacky super cheap auto pedals. Im assuming you wouldn't need a drill for this, just a handy screwdriver, maybe spanner, i don't really know.

Any ideas? Plus if you have them are they worth it?

All you need for these is a flat blade screw driver and a 10mm (i think) spanner; a ratchet would be easier. The hardest bit is getting the go pedal off and the new one on. I found that if you started at close to a 90 degree angel and forced it on as you moved into the correct angle it slipped on. The brake pedal is just a simple cover that only needs to be levered off, slide the new one into place and lever the top edge over the pedal. Finally the Footrest is the easiest as you just use your spanner/ratchet to take off the nuts, put new footrest into place and tighten nuts back up.

As for if they are worth it. I would say not worth the money but do look great. Completely up to you though.

The pedal overs just slip over the pedal arm. You'll find they are actually rubber with a metal face plate, and the rubber just slips over the metal base plate on the pedal arm.

    Does that make sense?

You can do it by hand, but helps a lot to have a stubby screw driver to help lever the rubber lip over the pedal.

Yer it does, cheers for that.

I guess you could always paint it like a different colour, but why would you. Just with the stock pedals they get so slippery when your shoes are wet, the amount of times my foot has slipped off it and into the gap from the brake and accelerator, annoying.

    Thanks again.
