Default Spare Tyre Max 80klm Speed Limit

    Hi all..
I manage to get myself a puncture the other day in the VZ & had to fit the spare wheel.
I'm just a bit curious to why there would be a Max 80klm sticker on the rim.
It's basically a 15" steel rim fitted with Bridgstone R92 tyre.
The tyre is the same as all the other 3 wheels (except they are acclaim alloy rims)
    but the tyres are identical.
I could understand if the spare was a space saver type, but it ain't.

Just curious fella's.. If somebody knows the answer.

    Cheers Trevor

it because the car has alloys on it, they are just saying you have a different rim,

if you have an lsd with larger wheels with slightly larger rolling diameter, than the spare tyre, you can burn the clutches/cones out

Plus to add to that.. There's a different resistance value/size ect so yes covering there arse's but keep in mind in heavy breaking that tyre is more than likely to lock up.
    Cheers,
