Do what I did and borrow a mate 4x4 and drag it down the road... Hasn't happened again since...![]()
Hows that blocking your driveway? Theres no law saying you can't park across the road from someones driveway

If it's parked on YOUR side of the road across/blocking YOUR driveway then yes that is illegal to do so as it is restricting access to your driveway. Ask the dumb shit not to do it any more or ring the cops, (maybe they'll turn up three days later) or do something else that seems appropriate to you!
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
I don't see anything wrong with the pic. The commodore is over the street, the Honda next door is doing the same thing and whatever is parked out the front of your place (i can see the shadow) is probably doing the same thing to the doll's house with the white fence.
Annoyingly tight street, nothing illegal (although the old VN or whatever on the lawn over the street might not be allowed by some councils.
As said, nothing illegal about it. Maybe just ask them to move? Do you have difficulty getting in and out of your driveway? If so, i suggest spending a weekend down in a vacant car park practising judging distances with your car, because you really need it.
I have to enter my driveway almost 90 degree's because of how steep it is, yet i can still manage with a car parked right across the road. Likewise to get out.

(1) A driver must not stop on a bicycle path, footpath, shared path or dividing strip, or a nature strip adjacent to a length of road in a built-up area, unless:
(a) the driver stops at a place on a length of road, or in an area, to which a parking control sign applies and the driver is permitted to stop at that place under the Australian Road Rules ; or
(b) the driver is permitted to stop under another law of this jurisdiction.
Offence provision.
how the hell is that illegal?? hes parked on the other side of the road, you can't blame that guy for your parking ability
As long as he is parked more than three metres from the driveway entrance, he's in the clear. People park opposite and on either side of my driveway every day, and I can get my statesman out in one clean sweep. Your street is even wider than mine. Build a bridge and get over it
edit: if you genuinely can't get out of there, I genuinely suggest you practise more![]()

Just have a look down your street and how many parking spaces you can find that arent in front or across the road from someones driveway. I bet there are barely any.
I live down the road from a school and come home-time, the street fills up with parents picking up kids, so we often have 4wds parked across our driveway, but they always move if someone wants to get in or out so I don't have a problem with it

If people cant park across the road from another persons drive way... where can they park? It's not even a tight street!
There is PLENTY of space to reverse out of your driveway, either direction... unless you were planning on reversing straight across onto the footpath across the road

yes THAT picture shows that it is illegally parked, but i have a Suspicion that, that car is your car because the first pic wasnt focused on that car,
but i mite be wrong just how it looks
i did not understand that sentence at all, would you re-word that?
This thread is turning into an episode of lost...... nothing is what it first seems
First picture, everything is fine and dandy, nothing illegal going on there... second picture the honda is illegally parked and would probably get a $110 (unless theyve gone up again) fine.
If that drive way is your neighbours, and the car belongs to your neighbour.. as far as i know its still illegal, but he/she isnt going to block himself/herself in
