    Arrow thinking of buying a new car

    In October i will be trying to apply for a 30grand loan...for a VX Clubsport manual of course....also 30grand is to pay stamp duty insurance etc... i also will be trading in my VP berlina cause i will have no use for it...

    what do you ladies and gents think.... should i bother about a VX clubsport or get a VY SS for around the same price?

    Borrowing 30k for a rocket always seems like a recipe for disaster... Just my 2cents though...

    Ride = VT pov pack

    I'd be inclined to go with the clubby personally unless a very nice VY/Z SS came up

    EDIT: Just realised you are still on your P's. I'd be waiting til you get off them or you will be blowing a heap on insurance

    Exactly I drive a VT Pov Pack because I didn't want to get into debt to purchase a car...

    I couldn't imagine the insurance for under 25 + V8...

    Sorry, wasn't having a go, just thought it was funny.
    I'm not keen on borrowing for cars either, but enough people do it that I'm not going to advise against it

    Mate I bought a VY II SS for $19k last week with 85,000 kms and its a beautiful car. You really don't need a $30k loan. I looked at a couple of clubbys in sydney there is a manual going cheap at barry smith holden in hornsby if you are in the area.

    Hope that helps.
