    Question Engine Ceased??

    Hey all.

Theres a VS Commy sitten in the driveway. Its been sitting there for about 2 months without being started.
Its rained heaps and is almost snowing conditions.

When trying to kick it over just then there was a what sounded like a spark or ticking sound? It wouldnt even try to turn.

    Could the engine be ceased?
Going to have a look tomorrow in the light and just wanted some pointers as to what to have a look at. Turn the engine by hand to see if it turns ect...

Err another battery and/or the use of jumper leads maybe in order (not wanting to state the obvious but....)

The ticking sound would be the starter solenoid at a guess,
    Cheers,

Almost certiainly a flat battery. Unlikely to be seized in that amount of time if it was otherwise running fine beforehand.

Flat battery for sure - takes more than 2 months for an engine to seize from sitting still. Would have needed plenty of terminal damage prior to sitting to go belly up.

    Thanks fellas.

    It was a flat battery

Took it for a spin after it was warmed up. Didnt push it at all and a head cracked.
Looks like a wreck job for my bro in law
