    Default how strong is a te gemini diff

    hi ... i have a te gemimi and im wondering how strong the diff is . its a 1.6lt petrol manual . i know this is ia commodore forum but i cant find anything about it on the net .. anyhelp would be great . thanks

    The Gemmi diffs are only as strong as the weld job you do on the centre usually

    there was a gemini ute (yellow I think) with a big v8 in it at the summernats a few years ago won the burnout competition hands down, it had a stock diff I'm not sure what if any mods were done to it I have heard they are a very strong. I had 3 gemini's when I was younger and never damaged a diff.

    it wont break as long as its well maintained, if your worried about it get it checked out

    not sure how true it is, but i heard that the diff that is in those ugly subaru vortex's are a straight swap and tough as for a gemi, check it out first though
