loss of license (tow ball covering rego plate)

before you all start getting into me it was not for speeding or hooning etc.
i was pulled over for RBT when the cop said my tow ball covered my plate and issued me a fine plus 3 demerit points. now i only have 2 points and i am a p-plater but i am just curious to how long i will lose my license for etc

yeah bit harsh in my oppinion. nah dont have a picture but looking at it after it happened it does cover it a fraction. but 3 points for it is alot.

3 months in Vic (well it was last year anyway)
Or you have the option to have a good behaviour bond for 12 months, but face at least a 6 month suspension if you step one foot out of line for that time

I read that 1st post to mean he only had 2 points left before the tow ball thing.
If you haven't done anything else wrong, and hadn't lost any points until now, you will still have 2 points left and won't lose your license at all.
Otherwise....yeah bad luck

sorry i only had 2 points left when i got the 3 point fine.
think i will go on the one point scheme
