    Question Deployed airbag

Scuse my ignorance I do a lot of country driving and had a couple of near hits the other night with some big Roos. My question is, if my crewman and hopping dog have coming together with force enough to deploy airbag will I(other damage permitting)i be able to drive. Perhaps i am underestimating the force (-Gs) required or even the effect the bag itself would have on Me?

can still drive when deployed on a commodore
but depends on the accident damage to weather or not you want to drive
more so if you hit a skipy which causes the bags to go off i think you will have a nice cooling system prob

falcons and focus have a hide switch under the dash you must press to allow the car to start after the airbags have been deployed

depending on how hard you hit it and the angle you hit it,

we had a vz wagon at work (work car) that aquaplaned through and interesection sideways and into a power pole head on in the end, pushed the motor back through the firewall but didnt set the a/bags off, the vehicle electrics were still fine, battery wasnt damaged

Air bags won't go off in all situations as there has to be a correct amount of force/speed.
But in any case i wouldn't suggest anyone drive a smashed car unless you've had a full inspection first and buy then it should be ready to get repaired anyway, we all have to drive on the same roads and i don't want a dangerous car coming at me just in case (especially on some of Australia's dodgy country road)!!!!!
