lately my car has not been going into gear when the clutch pedal is pushed in, at first it was once every blue moon and now if i push the clutch in put it in gear and let it sit for a few seconds or so it will slowly begin to drop revs and engage the clutch even though i have the pedal to the floor..what could the problem be?
How is it when it is first depressed?
It sounds like either the master cylinder or the slave cylinder is bypassing.
well as long as i put it in gear as soon as i push in the clutch it will shift okay, clutch doesn't slip..also the feeling at the pedal is much worse seem like the friction point is just when i release pressure and doesn't seem to want to spring back alot now
VS.....it's a cable clutch is it? Cable may be stretched.
