So I usually park my car outside of work, on the main road but the side strip is huge so it's highly unlikely to hit a car, or is it? Bout 3-4 months ago, my car was parked outside work and an big F250 came and side wiped the front bumper when pulling into the car parks. Of course he denied it but after ALOT of f'ing around, it was finally fixed and back in order. Now... I parked my car back further and what happens? This time a car drives past the car park drive way, decides to reverse back, and hits my car in the EXACT same spot as last time!! What are the odds? Now I have to wait 2 weeks before it goes to the panel beaters. The damage visually isn't alot but what's got to be done to fix it is still a major pain in the arse.
Anyone else had something similar happen to them?
I bet there's less odds of a Stealth fighter crash landing on your car and that's happened to people before
Really? Well there you go, learn something new everyday lol. Now that's VERY unlucky.
I think you should stop parking there lol.
I hate it when d***heads ram your car in a carpark and drive off. Happened to me. I got in my [old] car and started driving, after shopping, and I notice a note on my wipers. I grab it and read that someone took down the plate of the car that hit me. I didnt even realize it but someone side-swiped the front pumper leaving it slightly loose and scratch to s**t. I reported it with the licence plate and it took over 6 months for the cops to get 'em. Turns out it was some young chick with an RX8 registered under some guys name. The insurance then paid for it and I wasnt stuck with an excess.
Sidenote: the cops said it takes so long because for the whole of WA-Metro there are 2 officers assigned to look into 'minor hit and runs'. They gotta do the paperwork and drive out to meet the suspects. Crazy! But in all fairness, the police was very nice and customer service friendly.
