Getting a car over the pits, would they care about this?

When getting a car over the pits for rego, would they care if the aircon/heater didnt work? or is that classed as 'unroadworthy' ?

if the car was from interstate all they do is an id check eg, engine number, vin number etc

they wouldn't really care tomuch about that heeps of cars don't even have a/c. there kinder more worried about the mechanic, body condition side of things, just make sure that all the lights work, tyres have heeps on them and theres no rust, and it don't blow smoke

you legally have to have a working heater.

If its just a ID check too rego car in sa from another state they wont and it doesnt go into the pits goes too a seperate area and all they check is id tags lights,tint and tyres really

need a working demister, which kinda means you need a working heater!!

are you saying the fan doesn't work? the air doesn't get hot, or, the entire heater box is missing? lol

They check everything if its a defect ,but not as much if just rego check
