    Default insurance

    i am just about to lower my vz right..i wanna go SL front and SSL rear.

    have people insured their cars for this height?

    like im pretty sure thats a little lower than legal height, well at leat in the rear..

    please help lol

    i have, currently on superlows all round, and its insured and all legal. As long as its legal i dont think they should have a problem. some insurance companys are picking with mods, ring them up and ask them is your best bet.

    Some insure lowered cars and some don't touch them, if anything happens and the car gets assessed, that's when they look for anything that they can not pay you for. Haven't heard of someone not getting paid out coz the cat was lowered, in saying that, not saying it hasn't happened yet, especially if it illegal. Illegal = unroadworthy.
    I knew the panel beater where one car went after i smashed it and I had to get there and take a stereo, subs amps and all out, original wheels back on, steering wheel, and quite a few other things so that the assessor wouldn't write any of it down. Trust me, now I prefer to pay the bit extra and not stress if anything happens.
