    Default quick question bout conversions

    ok ive got about 7 to 8 grand to spend ive currently got a vp v6 n i was wondering how much it would cost to put a 5l engine a t5 gearbox n bigger brakes in it and what else do i need to get it through regency

    Quick answer..... DON'T.

    Do you have any idea what you can buy with $8000, well whatever it is it will be a better option then a conversion.

    you could but a decent vp ss for that, probly even factory manual

    if it was me i would just buy a manual SS you can pick up a decent vn-vs SS for under 8k

    Good advice. Conversions are rarely as simple as they sound and for that money you can buy a damn nice car.
    There's always nice VN-VP SS's on ebay. $5000 will get you a very nice one.
    I bought my VN SS on ebay a few weeks back and it only owes me $3100 plus about $1200 for rego and interstate transport costs. Well under $5000 grand.
    Then if you sell yours you're even further ahead.

    well everyone says to just buy another car, but if YOU want to do the conversion then do it. you could find a 5l engine with alot less ks then buying an ss.
