Looking on the Holden website, there is an area for providing details about a change in ownership, which relates to roadside assistance and warranty information. Is it worth filling out this info?
I know its a stupid thing to think about, but its worth the thought if there is any benefit in keeping this information up to date. I heard about the VZ recall with the airbags, and would not have a clue if my new SV6 had ever been recalled. How would you tell?
I doubt that there would be any warranty left on the vehicle after being sold by the original owner???
Has anyone else made the effort to follow this through and found any benefit to it?
Thanks.
I have registered the change of owner details with Holden. I have only had my VZ Calais since April this year and haven't seen a benefit. But I guess if something pops up in the future regarding another recall, then atleast they can directly send me any info etc.
I haven't received any junk mail or any mail at all from them. I wouldn't complain because if its Holden related then it may be worth a read because these are the cars we love, but if its useless then its not hard to throw in the bin just like the other junk mail that comes on a weekly basis.
