Who does a VL ute???

Yes, the title is correct. Saw a VL Berlina (white) ute up the geelong rd, I had to look several times to see I wasn't seeing things...

Has anyone else seen such? The job looked very professional, and i would say very OEM...

Anyone know where this can be done?

The one i saw was in average-ish condition but straight, with the ute side walls, tailgate, rear lights all together, looked like it rolled out of the factory with its stocky rims ;-P

personally dont like the vl utes with the sides, but the tonner looks awesome...i no there are a few places that build cars like this, seen a few VR/VS statesman tonners and even seen a vt tonner

In S.A. it's not needed ( kind of ) basically if you want to drive in fear of defect you don't worry about engineers cert's or passing through Regency ( S.A's match to a RWC but you only need one if your defected or wanting to legalize a heavily modifed car )

Well it never made the springnats but it is still being restored!!! Might be a year or 2 before she's finished, cash cash cash!!! Ls1 power though and a fresh coat of paint and she should get up n go!!! VL UTE, cant beat it!!!
