i am looking to get a trailer that holds the front or rear wheels, but after searching cant find any.
I think you are referring to those trailers that lift the front or back wheels off the ground and allow a small vehicle to be towed. The're called dollies or something similiar. I have seen advertisements for them in Caravan and Motorhome Magazines. Sorry I cannot recall which ones. The Motorhome folk use them to tow a small vehicle behind as their shopping transport.

Its a trailer that you put a car on. lol
I saw a few motorhomes in Europe where the small sedan was being flat-towed behind. I always thought that flat towing was damaging to front wheel drives and that they should have the drive wheels raised off the road, I also wondered how they went around the corners as the towing coupling was not connected to the steering, so that they were sort of dragged around the corner.
Does anybody know if I'm correct with both these assumptions?
