Default buick 6 fuel economy, PLEASE HELP!!!

gday fellow members, i need some advice on how to raise the fuel economy in my vp v6. it was running 15.2L/100km BEFORE i installed a new o2 sensor (heavy or light foot, wouldnt budge)........ but since ive installed its its actually risen to 15.3ish (light foot) to 15.8ish(not so light). wtf???? ive done about 400-500kms since installing and last tank i got 360kms approx. this is killing me! i know of some things that i could do such as new fuel filter and a tune what should be NEXT on my list? any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. cheers

lower fuel economy? lol... you mean raise fuel economy?

The 02 was a good start, next would be:

Tune- Get a new one Your ECU may be flooding the crap out of your engine. Try a different tune/ecu for a bit and see what that does.

There may be an issue with your injectors/fuel rail but i don think so.. its usually tune/sensor related.

    What is your tire pressure?
Is your car extremly areo undynamic?
    Carry heavy loads?
What gear do you drive in?

    aZk.
    Wanted to buy:

    1. T5 V8 Bellhousing and Clutch fork assembly suit VP
    2. V8 Tail Shaft, T5, Suit IRS VP
    3. T5 VB Gear Box

PM Me if you got what i need...

When was the last time you reset your ECU?

Start there... Tune is fairly cheap, hit up greenfoam on ebay for one.

Nah, dissconnect the main engine fuse for 30secs then when you start the car, rev it to 2000-2500 for 10-20secs (constant) for a re-learn.. its like a calibration.
